‘No Man’s Sky’ News & Update: Title To Have Another Update; Hello Games Still Mum About It
This 2017 is might be a good start for the "No Man's Sky" fans as there may be a new update coming. However, it is not yet revealed if this would be an official update or only a patch as Hello Games is still mum about it.
The assumptions started swirling when the developer branch of "No Man's Sky" on Steam was recently updated. To recall, the action-adventure survival video game was just recently updated in December extensively with 1.1 Foundation Update. This added a number of new gameplay like creative and survival mode, Power Up Gaming reported.
As there are some issues with 1.1 Foundation Update, Hello Games also revealed a series of bug fixes for "No Man's Sky" in the same month. Hence, it is still indistinguishable if the alleged update is only a minor patch as its internal version is now being tested or something substantive, although it is very unlikely for the video game developer to do it. Moreover, "No Man's Sky" comes with a Collector's Edition Bundle made by iam8bit.
It was originally up to date with Hello Games in March 2016, thus fans who preordered the said version expected that it would be released the same time the title was unveiled in August 2016. As the game's special edition started rolling just recently, it only means that most of the year the game had gone through a long wait to send out, MobiPicker reported.
This, too, implies that the much-created hype and noise Hello Games made for "No Man's Sky" worked out before its release. In fact, the title its first batch of sales swirl up incredibly high before the "crushing disappointment" hit the game, Polygon cited. Fans expected it to have a huge universe, unlimited planets, different aliens and things to explore, but they were surprised to see a repetitive gameplay that makes the game a disappointment to many.
