‘The Elder Scrolls 6’, ‘Fallout 5’ Latest News & Updates: Players No Longer Want To Play Fetch In Next Installment
Bethesda is busy trying to appease games on “The Elder Scrolls 5” and “Fallout 4”, mostly focusing on improved gameplay and graphics. The current installments do have other activities for players but one thing most don’t want to see on “The Elder Scrolls 6” and/or “Fallout 5” are the ‘Fetch’ quests.
Apparently some games have had enough of the ‘fetch’ quests and believe that game masters can do better for “The Elder Scrolls 6” and/or “Fallout 5”. While the intent is to keep players busy, some gamers voice out that being tasked to search and retrieve a certain number of items to be rewarded may be premature for the modern day gamers.
These quests have been around even during previous installments and if there is one wish gamers want to be heard, it would be thinking of something better than plain item collection escapades as voiced out on Gaming Bolt. In the event that Bethesda programmers were clueless on how to improve on the quests for gamers for “The Elder Scrolls 6” or “Fallout 5”, the tactic used on “The Witcher 3” was cited as an example.
Apparently this included making players believe that something bigger was a stake, a cheap shot but still something worth gambling on by the players to make things interesting. But the bottom line of it all is adding some flavor to quests and not redundant ‘fetching for nothing’ quests that seems to be boring players.
Right now, there is no word on when “The Elder Scrolls 6” or “Fallout 5” will see the light of day. Both are presumed to be in the early stages of development – meaning the Bethesda team has all the time to make the necessary adjustments. In a separate post, Vice President Peter Hines recently slammed release date predictions for “The Elder Scrolls 6”, claiming that the sixth installment has not gotten off the ground.
