Fans can't hardly wait to finally get their hands on the highly-anticipated "Grand Theft Auto 6," but the updates and announcements about the popular Rockstar Games title are quite limited. Now, a new report claims that having a female protagonist in "GTA 6" may be highly possible.

Fans have been left to wonder about what's in store for them in the much-awaited "Grand Theft Auto 6." GTA 6 Grand Theft Auto reported that it has been one of the wishlists of the fans to have a female protagonist in "GTA 6." If that won't happen, fans still hope to see a female character as one of the main lead ones.

Rockstar Games' head writer Dan Houser revealed in an interview that they didn't plan ahead regarding what characters to make available for the gamers. But just because they didn't mention anything about a female protagonist, that does not mean that it will never happen. “We didn’t really think about it this time, That’s not to say that we couldn’t or we wouldn’t," he said.

Meanwhile, whispers and speculations regarding the "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date are still making its rounds on the Internet. One of the "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date rumors points out to a 2018 launch. Neurogadget has previously reported that the latest "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date rumor was based on the fact that "Grand Theft Auto" usually has a five-year gap between games.

Since "Grand Theft Auto 5" debuted back in 2013, there is a high chance that "Grand Theft Auto 6" will be launched in 2018. While this "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date makes a lot of sense, Rockstar Games has yet to comment on this matter.
