‘The 100’ Season 4 Air Date & Spoilers: Showrunner Teases Impending Calamity; Clarke, Bellamy Team Up
It looks like the Grounders and Ark Survivors are going to have a hard time in the coming "The 100" Season 4. As they are all ready to face Clarke (Eliza Taylor), they also have to fight the inevitable - the nature's wrath.
The show's showrunner Jason Rothenberg revealed that the groups of the City of Light and the Grounders are mad at Clarke in "The 100" Season 4. This is because the medical apprentice convicts them to radioactive doom more than a virtual infinity, according to ScreenCrush. Clarke, on the other hand, also has to control the second doomsday coming in the show's next installment.
The calamity coming in "The 100" Season 4 brought by the impending melting power plants around the world leads everyone to go berserk and out of control. "If you can't stop the end of the world, how can you find hope?" Rothenberg teased. This will lead to some holding on with their loved ones and others will choose to fight even if it takes their last breath. Also, some will be seen choosing not to care as they are done fighting while some will make others hold responsible.
Aside from Clarke's fight with the City of Lights, she will also have a conflict with the Grounders, Entertainment Weekly noted. The juvenile delinquent will have a quarrel with Ilian (Chai Romruen), who is known for blundering the Sky People for bringing down the most recent wave of technology and demolition. Rothenberg explained that Ilian was only compelled by A.L.I.E. to do such awful things, thus he will make sure that it would never happen again in "The 100" Season 4.
Meanwhile, in the latest teaser promo of "The 100" Season 4, Clarke and Bellamy (Bob Morley) team up once again to be the leaders that they are. Evidently, the two's collaboration is a hit as they grown and transform together. Watch out for these two in the return of "The 100" Season 4 on Feb. 1 on The CW.
