Since remastered and remake of games are a trend today, there's another AAA game title is adding on the roster. Some fans of the "Tomb Raider" franchise are now working to do an upgraded edition of "Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation" in HD.

The "Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation" has been revealed in 1999, but Square Enix has yet to release any remaster or remake of the said title. Given that the video game has a big following, fans decided that they, themselves, will bring it to the modern world by doing a special HD version, according to VG247. The fans' project will be called "Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation" HD that will be a collaboration between some modders.

They aim to give the game sharper textures, many modern effects, higher-quality objects and a lot more. Aside from that, they also planned to give the title new gameplay features and visual upgrades that they confirmed on the "Tomb Raider" forums page. The "Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation" HD is now in the works and in early developments, but the team, Raiding the Globe, has managed to give a glimpse of its improvements.

From the looks of it, it showed more crisp images and graphics that perfectly fits today's modern standard. Check the new look of the game here. Moreover, "Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation" was the most accomplished "Tomb Raider" title of the PlayStation One era, thus its HD version assures fans to have modern effects. This includes more vibrant fogs, more even shadows and high-quality sprites, PC Gamer reported.

"'Tomb Raider 4: The Last Revelation' HD allows players to experience Core Design's original and unparalleled classic game remastered," Raiding the Globe's site said about the game's new version. Fans can now experience Egypt in the game like never before while running and walking through the ancient tombs more clearly. The group promised to give more details in the coming days.
