'Gotham' Season 3 Air Date & Spoilers: This 'Justified' Actor Holds The Key For Bruce Wayne To Become Batman
When "Gotham" season 3 returns on January 16, viewers and fans will get to see how the story continues with several villains coming back to haunt the city. With this in mind, some are wondering when Detective James Gordon is going to pass the torch to Bruce Wayne.
Of course, on "Gotham," Bruce is merely a teen and hasn't discovered his identity as Batman yet, even if his evil counterparts seem to have. The answer lies in a new character the show will introduce. According to Deadline, this "Justified" actor holds the key for Bruce Wayne to become Batman in "Gotham" season 3.
Raymond J. Barry will appear on the show as the temple Shaman, who will influence Bruce and "[unlock] the potential of his own mind." Barry's role as the Shaman is recurring, and may not be as good as he seems. The official description released by FOX reads that there may be a sinister intention behind his meeting with the young Bruce Wayne. Meanwhile, Comic Book reports that "Gotham" season 3 will see the return of Jerome.
Fans and viewers are eager to find out if they'll get to see Jerome's full transformation into the Joker in the remaining episodes of the third season. There's also the prediction that Selina and Bruce don't become BFFs by the end of "Gotham" season 3. Selina is poised to become Catwoman and Bruce will become Batman eventually, so it doesn't look like there's a happy ending in store for these two.
Nonetheless, fans can look forward to the arrival of Barry as the Shaman who holds the key for Bruce Wayne to become Batman. It won't be long before viewers can see Barry in "Gotham" season 3, as the show returns on Monday, January 16. To keep up with the latest on "Gotham" season 3, bookmark this page.
