“The Elder Scrolls Online” continues to be a game to offer more adventures though a new map could make a big difference. There is apparently a big room for improvement which brings to mind even the old versions such as the “Morrowind” map. The possibility of seeing the map used on “Elder Scrolls III” cropped up recently thanks to some data miners.

Some players over at the Reddit thread discovered a development map which comes fairly close to “Morrowind”. Credit goes to user “FloorBelow” for the discovery with the map matching the classic region on “The Elder Scrolls Online”. However, the map is only scratching the surface with other unearthed bits that include tilesets which are associated with the old TES map.

“FloorBelow” goes on to compare the discovered map with “Wrothgar” and “Stonefalls”. He somehow ties it up to “Red Mountain”, a massive volcano located in the middle of “Vvardenfell” and “Sheogard” which are in the northern part of the region on “The Elder Scrolls Online”. According to him, this new map could be massive and twice the size of Stonefalls that could account for bigger PvEs if true.

While the discovery is something, it remains to be seen if Bethesda will introduce a new map (“Morrowind”) to “The Elder Scrolls Online” this year. 2017 marks the 15th year anniversary of “The Elder Scrolls”, making it the perfect time to add more content headlined by a familiar map but in a different time, Attack of the Fan Boy reported.

For now, folks will have to make do with what Bethesda has to offer for “The Elder Scrolls Online”. There are big expectations for the game this 2017, including having player houses across “Tamriel” which headlines the focus on content production moving forward. Game director Matt Firor hopes to build on their success in 2016, assuring that they will continue to work on the game for as long as people want to pay it, Video Games Republic reported.
