'Destiny' News & Update: Hotfix 2.5.0.1 Plus New Update Arriving January 17, Features 'Iron Banner' Event, Clash
Fans of Bungie's "Destiny" will have a lot to look forward to next week. Hotfix 2.5.0.1 plus new update arriving January 17 features "Iron Banner" event, which will go on for seven days. Gamers should expect to play Clash, a game type in which players need to engage in a shooting match.
Gamers are then rewarded with gear for competing in the match. This year's "Iron Banner" has several awesome weapons up for grabs, including the Hunter, Warlock, Titan armor, and special sidearms and rocket launchers. The news came via GameSpot, which reported that the "Destiny" will have an udpate arriving January 17 that features "Iron Banner" event. Additionally, gamers can expect Hotfix 2.5.0.1 arriving on the same day.
According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the Hotfix 2.5.0.1 will address several issues in the game. Gamers may have found that some Patrol missions in the Plaguelands are not always causing enemies to drop their objective items. "Destiny" gamers may also have found that the inventory of Xûr’s “Curio” changes from week to week because of the inventory space. This is addressed by Hotfix 2.5.0.1. Additionally, there's an inconsistent weapon stability on the Nova Mortis and Abbadon Exotic, which will be addressed by Hotfix 2.5.0.1 as well.
In addition, "Destiny" update 2.5.0 has several known issues that they haven't addressed as well. These include the fact that Skeleton Keys are mistakenly removed from Character Inventory. Additionally, when gamers get the Ice Breaker from the Vanguard Elite Bounty, they don't unlock the corresponding Grimoire card.
While waiting for Hotfix 2.5.0.1 and "Iron Banner" to arrive on Janaury 17, gamers can enjoy a new event called "Bungie Bounty Days." This new event will let gamers take down a target in a Clash match every weekday. If gamers win, they will get a Sign of Opposing Will.
