Microsoft Surface Phone Latest News & Update: Lumia 435 Hints At Coming Of Much-Awaited Smartphone
The Microsoft Surface Phone is one of the highly awaited devices in 2017 and the said mobile device could be out soon. Some have singled out the spotting of the Microsoft Lumia 435 as a possible lead, something now being offered for only $28.75 over at Walmart.
For the benefit of readers unfamiliar with the Microsoft Lumia 435, the device sports a 4-inch touch screen (480x800 resolution) and comes backed with a 1.2 GHz Dual-Core Cortex A7 SoC. The device is an entry-level device that came out two years ago, Phone Arena reported. The special offers are valid only until Jan. 18. As mentioned in a previous post, the Microsoft Surface Phone is the next anticipated device since the Lumia 950.
Among the features that it is speculated to come with include a 5.7-inch touchscreen display with 2K resolution and run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. Other noteworthy features of the Microsoft Surface Phone include 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, a 20 MP main camera, a front-facing 8 MP shooter and a built-in QWERTY keyboard. It is believed to be coming with a 3,000 mAh battery which should address longevity use concerns.
It is also expected to come with provisions for Microsoft backed apps like Exchange Server, Office 365 and Skype. Another possible feature of the Microsoft Surface Phone is the multi-device pairing and combined display. This means that pairing it up with other devices could account for a bigger display with respective touch screens, according to a patent recently spotted. If so, this could be one of the big features for the said device.
There has been no official word yet on when the Microsoft Surface Phone will come out in the open though most are betting on the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2017. Most of the latest devices are expected to be revealed and seeing a long-awaited expansion of the Microsoft Surface Pro series could be a grand revelation.
