Xbox community manager Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb revealed the good news on his Twitter page that absolutely excites the fans. The first week of Xbox One Backward Compatibility brings in 10 new games that include "Dragon Age Origins," "Battlefield: Bad Company 2," "Battlefield 3," "Strania" and "The Splatters." Also in the lineup are "Scrap Metal," "Ghostbusters," "Mega Man 9," "Mega Man 10" and "Beat'n Groovy."
The Xbox head Phil Spencer, on the other hand, earlier teased that this January would be "pretty good" for Xbox One Backward Compatibility on his Twitter page. In fact, the 10 game titles unveiled are not the only games coming on its roster as there are two weeks left before this month ends. So, fans could watch out for more. To recall, in 2016, "Red Dead Redemption, the "Bioshock" trilogy, "Mass Effect" trilogy and "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" were unveiled, according to Daily Star.
Moreover, Racing Junky noted that the 10 revealed games for Xbox One Backward Compatibility boast AAA titles from the Xbox 360. "Battlefield 3" and "Dragon Age Origins" are amongst the best picks. If truth be told, "Battlefield 3" gathered more than 50,000 votes to be playable for the Xbox One. "Dragon Age Origins," alternatively, got more than 30,000. "Bad Company" received more than 40,000 client score, but didn't make it to the top 10 list because of having fewer votes.
Meanwhile, the game enthusiasts were asked to wait for two weeks before the new titles for Xbox One Backward Compatibility were unveiled. This was due to Microsoft's winter break and the company was still looking for games that would be playable for the Xbox One. The tech-giant, too, confirmed to its followers that there will be more titles coming next week. "We plan to continue BC game releases one week from now," Xbox Platform PM lead Bill Stillwell revealed on Twitter.
