iPad Air 3 Latest News & Update: Apple Debuting Thinner Variant This March
Apple is expected to release a new batch of iPad Air tablets soon which will be headlined by a refreshed iPad Air 3.With two-years gone since the iPad Air 2, the Cupertino company is expected to come up with something special to aid folks relying on tablets as of late.
The potential release of an iPad Air 3 was mentioned in a previous post. Aside from the third variant, most are also eager to find out if an iPad Mini 5 is included in the new collection iPad Air variants expected to come out this March. Though it seems inevitable, most want to find out what modifications the iPad Air 3 may possibly carry.
Leading the pack of new features for the iPad Air 3 include an expected thinner device compared to the present day iPad Air 2, Tech Radar reported. Aside from that, the tablet is speculated to come with the same 9.7-inch frame, armed with an A9 chip, 3 GB of RAM and possibly up to 16 or 32 GB of internal storage and the possible retention of the 3.5 mm jacks. If so, the Cupertino company could be holding off its iteration which many will recall was done on the iPhone 7.
Pricing for the iPad Air 3 remains unknown though it could cost somewhere in the vicinity of $600. While the coming of the iPad Air 3 should be welcome news, there are some wondering if this would be the last of its kind. With Apple focusing on downsizing and integrating their multiple product lines, next iPad variants could eventually be streamlined under the iPad Pro variants.
Another point worth noting is that current and previous iPad Air tablets didn’t exactly perform up to par. Regardless if it will be the last of its kind, many are eager to see if the iPad Air 3 pans up. With mentioned and possibly more features pegged to be included, Apple should pop up some credible updates soon.
