Samsung Galaxy S8 Latest News & Update: Reports Say New Flagship Out April 15 Sporting Improved Front-Facing Camera
The possible coming and specs of the Samsung Galaxy S8 continue to pile up though most are more interested in when the electronics giant will release the next flagship. While the showcase is expected to take place next month as before, the actual date of availability is what has left much hanging.
As mentioned in a previous post, Samsung is expected to dive into production by March. The availability of the Samsung Galaxy S8/ S8 Edge is expected to be in April though no actual date was given. That all changed recently with word that the upcoming Samsung flagship will reportedly debut on April 15, ET News reported. With a more factual date to wait on, folks long in waiting following the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 know the time remaining to upgrade their current mobile devices.
But is the Samsung Galaxy S8 that great to wait for? To date, the best features believed to be dawning the Samsung Galaxy S8 include a 6-inch pressure-sensitive display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 935 or Exynos 8895 SoC, 8 GB of RAM and possibly a S-Pen Stylus. One of the highlights includes new AI assistants named “Bixby” and “Kelstra”, male and female voices respectively.
The latest modification will reportedly be the front-facing camera of the Samsung Galaxy S8. It will be the same 8 MP shooter though vastly improved with a reported autofocus integration, Sam Mobile reported. Seeing how the new generation of mobile phone owners has gone crazy over taking ‘selfies’, this could be a key improvement to potential buyers.
With an actual date (April 15) and the new improvement, expect more updates on the possible features of the Samsung Galaxy S8 before the annual “Unpacked” event and of course the Mobile World Congress 2017. A lot rests on the shoulders of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge, hopefully, something that will erase the forgettable stigma of the Galaxy Note 7.
