When a teaser trailer for the new upcoming TV series "Snatch" was released, "Harry Potter" fans had to do a double take if it was indeed their beloved Ron Weasley looking pretty dapper in his suits. Rupert Grint is reminding everyone that his wizard days is definitely behind him now as he is set to portray a gentleman gangster in the spinoff of Guy Ritchie's 2000 film.

Although he will forever be known as Ron Weasley, Rupert Grint is starting to separate himself from being Harry Potter's BFF. Still keeping his signature ginger hair, the 28-year-old English actor looked serious and mature in the "Snatch" teaser trailer, wearing a dashing suit and tie. The 2-minute clip gave Potterheads the sign that Rupert Grint is already hanging his famous wizard rope up and he is signing off as Ron Weasley.

"Snatch" was originally released in 2000, with A-list cast including Brad Pitt, Benecio del Toro, Jason Statham and Vinnie Jones. The crime comedy film was written and directed by Madonna's ex-husband Guy Ritchie. "Snatch" was well-received by viewers, grossing to a total of $83.6 million with a $10 million budget. With the success of the film, it's no surprise that "Snatch" was considered to have a TV series version.

"Snatch" is just one of the many films that has been made into a TV series. While some has found success in both films and TV series, some are not that lucky. For a show as interesting as "Limitless," fans have been scratching their heads after realizing that "Limitless" was dropped by CBS and Amazon and Netflix are not willing to pick "Limitless" Season 2 up. The frustrations of the fans are very understandable as "Limitless" left the air without giving any finality to the story.

The fate of "Limitless" goes to show that it's still a real gamble to turn films into TV series even if it was highly successful in the past. Even with "Snatch" being a mega-hit film, the TV version has yet to make its own success as it premieres on March 17, 2017 on Sony's Crackle.
