‘Tom Clancy’s The Division’ Latest News & Update: Upcoming Expansion May Be Getting Important Additions, Ubisoft Asks Fans
"Tom Clancy's The Division" may be getting important additions in its DLC update. Interestingly, it seems that the new survival mode and location are going to appear outdated with the coming of the latest content update.
"Tom Clancy's The Division" will be getting another DLC update very soon, which is rumored to be adding a new mode for survival, WWG reported. Fans can take part in numerous online surveys made for the game. Fans will be asked to rate their experience with the game and how would they feel with an addition of a survival mode. That being said, it sounds as if Ubisoft is planning on releasing a new "Last Man Standing" survival mode.
The online survey for "Tom Clancy's The Division" further described the survival mode as something similar to "Battle Royale" and "Hunger Games," where only one player will remain alive at the end of the game. Ubisoft also hinted that a new set of locations may also be added, Express said. One of the questions will give players the chance to choose from a wide range of settings. This could also potentially add new stories to The Division plot story.
In particular, the game is asking where they want to bring the franchise next; from a new city with the same storyline in the franchise to a new city in a different time period from The Division. Fans also have the option to return to New York City to continue "Tom Clancy's The Division" story or they can go to a new city set in time concurrent to the events of The Division.
While nothing is finalized, adding a new survival mode and location to "Tom Clancy's The Division" can offer fans a bit of variety that other games are lacking. Please take note that the survey is simply asking fans for suggestions on where the game should go next. Anything is possible as of now until Ubisoft announces the results of the survey and what actions they'll be taking next.
