When "Prison Break" fans found out that Michael Scofield is actually alive and "Prison Break" Season 5 will be released soon, they were extremely happy to know that their favorite show will continue its storyline. But as fans thought that this could be just the beginning of good news from the show, "Prison Break" Season 5 creator dropped a bombshell and revealed that this will be the last and final installment.

While the "Prison Break" Season 5 creator is firm for the finality of the series, Wentworth Miller is still hoping that there will be more seasons. Fans are already getting themselves ready for "Prison Break" Season 5, but with nine episodes at the back of their minds, they can't help but to hope that there will be more. Just like fans, Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield) is hoping that this is also not the end for the beloved series.

The "Prison Break" Season 5 star is encouraging fans to not lose hope for there may still be a chance for another revival. Show creator Paul Scheuring has previously shared that the only reason why the series was revived is because he didn't want it to end like the show "Odyssey," as reported by Entertainment Tonight. The similarities of the finale of "Prison Break: The Final Break" and "Odyssey" pushed him to make "Prison Break" Season 5. Now that "Prison Break" Season 5 is officially happening, Paul Scheuring is now making a brand new ending and obviously he is happy with the outcome.

Wentworth Miller, on the other hand, is still not ready for the show to end. Speaking with Digital Spy at the time, Wentworth Miller revealed that there may be more episodes than planned in "Prison Break" Season 5. The 44-year-old actor shared that if the show will be received well by the fans, then there's a chance that more episodes will be added to "Prison Break" Season 5.
