Mark Harmon 2017: 'NCIS' Season 14 Actor May Take A Break From Show To Focus On Health
After fans have noticed how thin Mark Harmon is in "NCIS" Season 14, many became concerned for the beloved actor's health. Although nothing much is said about Mark Harmon's health, many are worried that he may leave the hit CBS show due to his frail condition.
Hark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs) has been in the business for over three decades and it is just recently that fans have seen him looking weak in "NCIS" Season 14. The 65-year-old actor has always been healthy and active in his younger years, so to see him thinner than usual made fans wonder about the status of his health.
If Mark Harmon will indeed leave the show to focus on his health, it will not be shocking news anymore if the ratings for "NCIS" Season 15 will not be as impressive as expected. Fans even went on to say that they will stop watching the hit CBS show if their favorite Leroy Jethro Gibbs will be off the cast. The "NCIS" Season 14 actor has previously revealed to Men's Fitness that he was never out of shape when he was younger.
Mark Harmon was a quarterback for UCLA Bruins football team in 1972 -1973, so he was used to train like an athlete and has maintained his fit physique. Now in his 60's, Mark Harmon shares that he has been doing Pilates after suffering a shoulder injury. Although the physical fitness system may look easy, the "NCIS" Season 14 actor noted that it's definitely not the case. "The physical therapist I went to was all about that. They kick your a** on these machines," he said.
Mark Harmon is noticeably thin in "NCIS" Season 14, which led fans to worry about his health and condition. While some suggested that the actor should take a quick break to get his healthy self back, rumors have spread that the "Certain Prey" actor will actually leave the show for good due to his frail condition. CBS and Mark Harmon has yet to comment on this issue.
