If there was one thing that "Suicide Squad" missed out on, it was more screen time for Jared Leto as The Joker. However, it looks like the DC Extended Universe is planning to change that mistake. The Academy Award winner has resumed teasing on the possibility that the Clown Prince of Crime is coming back.

Jared Leto has been vocal about how "Suicide Squad" had cut down on his character's screen time and is undoubtedly hoping to see The Joker in future DCEU flicks. Is it possible that Leto will reunite with Margot Robbie in Harley Quinn's spinoff film "Gotham City Sirens"?

The "Suicide Squad" star posted two teasing images on Snapchat. The first photo was simply the cover of Alan Moore's graphic novel "Batman: The Killing Joke". This isn't a surprising picture for Jared Leto to share, especially since the actor had previously copied The Joker's iconic image to somehow confirm he would be playing the villain. However, Leto decided to share another photo that seemed to suggest he is already working on another DCEU flick.

The second image seems to be a movie prop or just proof of Jared Leto's unusual taste in jewelry. It features a blinged-up tooth in a purple-and-gold Gucci cushion. The photo immediately had fans wondering whether Leto has started working on another DCEU film as The Joker, speculating that Mister J will reunite with Harley Quinn on "Gotham City Sirens". An appearance on "Gotham City Sirens" isn't the only possible project for Jared Leto. Some wondered whether the Joker will pop up in "Justice League", which is already scheduled for release later this year. However, it is important to point out that these are currently speculations and all details should be taken with a grain of salt. In the meantime, Variety confirms that Leto will appear alongside Ryan Gosling in "Blade Runner 2049", which premieres on October 6.
