After much clamor, “The Sims 4” finally got the toddle additions as a free update. EA finally gave in to the much-ranted feature though most life-simulation gamers now find themselves undertaking major adjustments. Similar to real life, taking care of a child means more attention and responsibilities which pose new challenges.

Similar to previous installments, adding toddlers to “The Sims 4” affects a lot of things during the course of life in the life-simulation game. That includes getting less sleep at night and teaching the infant the basics such as talking and walking, all part of parenting in real life. Along with that, of course, the relationship building and adjusting to the mood swings that most Sims are known to have, Kotaku reported.

Similar to real life, “The Sims 4” players are unlikely to settle with one toddler in the game. Depending on the player behind the console, it could be two or more. There is an alternative to raising the kids and not worry about life-altering decisions in the game. Nannies or caregivers could be hired which means more expense.

Then again, these are the challenges gamers to figure out – either taking on parenthood head –on or working harder to draw in more money to pay the hired help. The free toddler update for “ The Sims 4” has reportedly been in the works for quite some time now according to TheSims.com. The new feature carries better interaction as well as the heart-warming interaction that even aspiring parents will surely love.

Apparently, game developers have worked hard to make it as close to modern living, discovering the beauty of raising children even it if is just in the life-simulation game. Hence, “The Sims 4” players who wanted new challenges can do so with the toddlers update. It may be neat for the parents or aspiring ones but also teaches the younger generation players on the true facts of life.
