"The Walking Dead" season 7B will be returning sometime in February and fans will be seeing a different direction from the first eight episodes of the season. As showrunner Scott Gimple promised, the second half of the season will be very different and the latest trailer seemed to show the return of the Saviours.

"The Walking Dead" season 7B latest trailer will see a deviation from Negan's supremacy, according to Entertainment Weekly. A new set of photos from the upcoming season shows The Saviors making an unwelcome return to Alexandra. As the Saviors make their way to Negan, Rick and company will meet a junkyard gang. On the other side, Daryl will be on a killing spree after he escapes Negan's tyranny. He'll meet up with Rick and convinced him to stand up against Negan.

"The Walking Dead" season 7B official extended synopsis also reveal that the gangs will head all over the place to unite communities to revolt against Negan, ScreenCrush reported. This will prove to be a very difficult task since they'll need survivors from Alexandria, Kingdom, and Hilltop. The gang will need to gather supplies and numbers in order to take Negan down. Some of the survivors may not be so willing to shed blood even if they are against Negan.

While "The Walking Dead" season 7B will see the gang prepare for an incoming war, others like Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and Gregory (Xander Berkeley) refuse to participate in the war. Rick and the rest of the gang will need more than speeches to convince them to take the risk to bring Negan down. The synopsis revealed that Rick and the group will go to great lengths just to defeat Negan. However, no amount of planning will prepare them against Negan and his army.

"The Walking Dead" season 7B promises that the most ingenious walker will appear in the second half of the season. Showrunner Greg Nicotero promised as much, saying that the team hasn't tried something like this before. While this is something new for the series, the viewers will be able to identify it upon seeing it. "The Walking Dead" season 7 will return on February 12.
