"Modern Family" season 8 star Julie Bowen was the receiving end of a great criticism after she posted several pictures of Donald and Melania's Trump youngest son Barron over Instagram. The snapped photos during the inauguration focused on Barron, attacking different aspects of the young boy, Comic Book reported. At first, Bowen accused Barron playing on his Gameboy as the little boy appears to be looking down during the ceremony.

I think Barron is on his Gameboy. Can't say I can blame him.

Then, the "Modern Family" season 8 star played about the distressed looking Barron as he held his head with his hands. She expertly captioned the photo saying that Donald's son perfectly expressed the feelings of the voting majority. After which, Bowen posted a photo of Barron rubbing his eyes, which the star described as the young boy's shame over his father's antics. Lastly, Bowen called out CNN when Barron went out of frame.

While it clearly shows that the "Modern Family" season 8 meant them all as a joke, several users weren't happy at all. In fact, some of the users declared that they will unfollow the star even going as far as threatening to boycott the "Modern Family." Bowen answered one of the fans by saying that she's just trying to keep everything light, even admitting that her kids would be a horror at a public event.

Meanwhile, some fans feel that "Modern Family" season 8 is already past its prime after the mixed reviews the series garnered, Cheat Sheet reported. While the series won five Emmy awards, the hit ABC series last received it in 2014. While it remains at the top with total 9.8 million total viewers, it has gone down from its first premiere. So do you think "Modern Family" season 8 has overstayed its welcome in the small screen?
