When "Jane the Virgin" season 3 came back this week, they came back with a bang. Some delicious twists were served up to viewers, including how Petra planted cameras all over Rafael's hotel room to uncover the truth about him not being a true Solano.

There's also Michael suddenly leaving his job to try a hand at comedy, which he thankfully survived in one piece, thanks to Jane. Viewers also saw how Xo was seemingly cold to Darcy, who has plans to have a child with Rogelio via IVF. But what is the real reason why Xo opposes Rogelio's baby plans?

According to the A.V. Club, Xo's relationship with Bruce pales in comparison to the passion between Rogelio and Darcy. They're both passionate about their work and have several things in common. "Jane the Virgin" season 3 viewers cannot overlook the fact that Rogelio even got a rogue boner in public in front of Darcy. It seems that Rogelio is falling for Darcy, and that's the real reason why Xo opposes Rogelio's baby plans.

Xo's seemingly cold attitude towards Darcy in the comedy bar implied that she had doubts about her. So it may be possible that she doesn't trust Darcy and that's the real reason why Xo opposes Rogelio's baby plans. It is also possible that Xo still has feelings for Rogelio, as it seems that was never even sorted out following their breakup in "Jane the Virgin" season 3.

Series creator Jennie Snyder Urman recently spoke with Rotten Tomatoes and shared that Rogelio is determined to start a family once again. However, the question now lies, with whom? Darcy is set to return for one more episode and it seems they won't have enough time to cover the pregnancy. Will Rogelio try once more with Xo? Viewers will have to watch "Jane the Virgin" season 3 on Monday to find out. Check out a sneak peek of next week's episode below.
