'WWE' 2017 Latest News & Updates: ‘Sister Abigail’ Sends Luke Harper Out Of Wyatt Family
Randy Orton and Luke Harper squared off as scheduled and the former came out with the win. Bray Wyatt witnessed the whole thing and seemed to console his long-time minion at first. Instead, the “Eater of Worlds” executed his patented “Sister Abigail” finisher which many are now pondering on.
The easy way to go about it is that Luke Harper has been booted out of the Wyatt Family. WWE.com alleges that it may be nothing more than showing tough love though it does signal more things to come. Last week, Harper landed a kick to Wyatt and the finisher could be viewed as payback for such. So did it mean he would have done the same had Orton lost?
The friction between Randy Orton and Luke Harper has been going on for quite some time now with the latter seemingly not sold on the “Viper’s” new lease. It is possible that Orton has played out his script to weed out the external elements so he could pick on Wyatt one-on-one. If so, that could happen soon or even during the "Royal Rumble" 2017, which takes place this Sunday at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
The tactic of Randy Orton is no different from the divide and conquer mantra that Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are applying to "WWE Raw" tag team champions Cesaro and Sheamus. With Harper out of the mix, Wyatt could be easy picking. Interesting as well is who is playing who? There is a chance that Wyatt and Harper were playing out a script to see how sincere Orton truly is.
A clearer picture is likely to evolve in the coming weeks with a possible Orton vs. Wyatt card at "Wrestlemania 33". It all starts with the 30-man battle royal this coming Sunday where it is every man for himself. Orton has been known to turn on his partners so seeing such may not be surprising, Forbes reported. But will Harper forget the “Sister Abigail” finish landed on him by Bray Wyatt, assuming this was not part of a play?
