Pokémon fans will be once again treated with another game from the media franchise called "Pokémon Duel." After the success of "Pokémon GO," The Pokémon Company unveiled a new strategic game that will challenge the players' wit.

"Pokémon Duel" is another mobile phone game application where the players will battle teams of six Pokémon against each other. According to IGN, The Pokémon Company already released this game in Japan titled "Pokémon Comaster" and was developed by another company that specialized on artificial intelligence. From its press release, it is described to be an exciting mobile strategic game that will make fans organize digital Pokémon.

They will all battle using their tactical moves to set foot on their enemies' land. Each of the six figures has its own strengths and capabilities along with a number of steps it is allowed to move. The players can use different routes to move towards to their gold or block their challengers from moving forward. In "Pokémon Duel," when the two opponents meet, a battle is about to start.

The players then will have to spin each of their Pokémon's Data Disk to see which of the attacks they can use. The game also has a plate option that sports different effects. Using this, the gamers can swap the positions of their Pokémon and give a variety of battle enhancements on their turn. Of course, the first one who reaches their goal will win. Meanwhile, GameSpot reported that "Pokémon Duel" is far more different from the mainline games of today.

"Pokémon Duel" is like a turn-based board game that will make the players move their Pokémon opposing the enemy's side of the arena. The fight between friendly and enemy counters can eventually lead to a mini-duel game. However, this new title still keeps the collectible element, which is already a trademark of other Pokémon games. With the use of the in-game currency, the players can also unlock chests that have new Pokémon counters that could be used in the battle.
