Finn and Jake will be on another adventure with "Adventure Time: Islands." The all new episodes of the fan-favorite animated series will tackle the disappearance of humanity that has long been questioned.

The upcoming "Adventure Time: Islands" will be an eight-part miniseries that will finally answer the mystery of the human's past. Finn the Human is the only person living in The Land of Ooo, even though there are Finn's father, Martin, Susan Strong and the Ice King. He is the only one considered to be a human being. Aside from that, this might be also the time fans can meet his mother, according to The Geekiary.

The promo art of "Adventure Time: Islands" hints that Finn's mother is coming. The snap shared on Tumblr features a baby Finn that is being touched by someone, who some strongly believed to be his mom, while saying, "Our Finn." The new episodes of the show are expected to be more unique, but some still expect to see more of canon Bubbline.

Meanwhile, eight-part miniseries of "Adventure Time: Islands" titles and synopses are already revealed. As listed by Animation Magazine, the first episode "The Invitation" will air on Jan. 30 where fans will see a strange craft that will invade Ooo and Finn. This vehicle is believed to be holding the secrets of his past. It will be followed by "Whipple the Happy Dragon" on the same day where Finn, Jake, and Susan will go an ocean adventure that will be a fun adventure but dangerous.

On Jan. 31 episodes three "Mysterious Island" and four "Imaginary Sources" will air while on Feb.1 episodes five "Hide and Seek" and six "Mini & Marty" will follow. Lastly, episodes seven "Helpers" and eight "The Light Cloud" will be released. For fans who can't wait to watch "Adventure Time: Islands" on Jan. 30 on Cartoon Network, it is now available on DVD, iTunes, Amazon Video and Google Play for $14.97 with free additional exclusive contents.
