Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Latest News & Update: Vertical Pink Lines Plaguing Flagship Display, Possible Fix Suggested
The issues tied up to Samsung’s line of devices seem to have no end with reports that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is now dealing with a display issue. For those who have been following updates to the Galaxy S7 Edge, this is the same problem that cropped up since March 2016.
The display issue for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is a vertical pink line. The issue has been mentioned on forums and social media with the actual cause still a mystery, Sam Mobile reported. Samsung has not considered it a widespread issue seeing that it occurs randomly. It should be noted that the display problem is not tied up with any physical damage which owners may want to keep tabs with.
Like other handsets who have been having phone issues, the easiest way to address the problem is heading towards the near service center to have it checked out. Before resorting to that, most may want to try out a short-term fix that could address the problem. For Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge owners, key in ‘*#0*#’. After that, click on red, green and blue which will reset the individual pixels of each color variation, according to Myce.com.
Owners are advised that this may not immediately resolve the problem so it would b best to repeat it a couple of times. If no positive results come out of it, that is the time when Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge owners should seek help from technicians. They will be the ones to eventually decide if the issue is covered by warranty or not.
With Samsung focused on the Samsung Galaxy S8, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge issue comes a bit of a surprise. For some like Samsung Benelux, replacement screens are reportedly underway which is free of charge. It remains to be seen if other regions will do the same seeing that the display problem has only grown rampant as of late.
