'Grand Theft Auto 6' News & Update: Fan Shares Baffling'GTA 6' Box Art [PHOTO]
Rockstar Games had set their priorities and shared that they wanted to focus on "Grand Theft Auto 5" and "Red Dead Redemption 2" for now. The lack of update for "Grand Theft Auto 6" has left fans with no other choice but to figure things out by themselves. But when a "GTA 6" was found in Brazil, the box art left gamers with more questions than answers.
A Reddit user shared the photo of the supposedly "Grand Theft Auto 6" game (originally from imgur) which brought confusion rather than excitement to those who saw the post. The box art points that it is "Grand Theft Auto 6," however, "V" is not a Roman numeral for "6."
The creator of the box art instead wrote the word "six" over the Roman numeral "V" (five). The correct title for "GTA 6" with the Roman numeral should be "Grand Theft Auto VI." Clearly, the one that was posted on Reddit was missing the "I."
The existence of the said "GTA 6" game was already alarming since Rockstar Games has not even announced the "Grand Theft Auto 6" release date yet. The only thing that the video developer has said about "GTA 6" is that they are still working on it, which means the game is not set to release anytime soon.
It's definitely not quick and easy to develop a game, it takes a lot of time and money for it to be officially completed. With that said, it is safe to say that the alleged "Grand Theft Auto 6" in Brazil is totally fake! Although this seems to be shocking, it is definitely not the first time that this happened. It's no secret that some video game sellers are changing the box art to grab buzz and attention, hoping for some gullible customers to believe the cover.
