'Rainbow Six Siege' News & Update: Ubisoft Welcomes Jackal To Lineup; Bonus Renown Event Extended
Fans of Ubisoft's first-person tactical shooter "Rainbow Six Siege" would be glad to know that there are a few things to get excited about in the game. First of all, there is the fact that Ubisoft welcomes Jackal to lineup as one of the two new Operators in the game. For those who are now playing, however, you should know that the Bonus Renown Event has been extended until Sunday, January 29 at 23:59 GMT.
The news comes via the official Twitter account of "Rainbow Six Siege," which reveals that gamers can get up to 50% more Renown at the end of each match until 23:59 GMT on Sunday, January 29. It seems like a good day to stay in and play. Meanwhile, gamers can also rejoice as one of the two new Operators of "Rainbow Six Siege has been revealed. According to GameSpot, Ubisoft welcomes Jackal to lineup. Jackal is a male Operator that has a capability of seeing enemy footprints on the ground thanks to a head-mounted display.

What's even more interesting as Ubisoft welcomes Jackal to the lineup is that he is from the Spanish Grupo Especial de Operaciones (GEO). However, it seems that fans will have to wait some more for information on the other Operator. Will the other Operator be female? Will he or she represent the GEO as well? "Rainbow Six Siege" gamers must know that Jackal and the other new Operator will be available for free for players who have the Year 2 Season Pass, as soon as the "Velvet Shell" update arrives.
