New 'Wonder Woman' Plot Details Reveals Diana's Mission With Steve Trevor, World War Soldiers [SPOILERS]

Diana Prince might be an Amazonian princess, but she still needs all the help she can get in her upcoming solo film "Wonder Woman". The trailer for the Patty Jenkins movie seems to suggest that Gal Gadot's DC heroine would be single-handedly taking on several baddies on her own. However, new plot details reveal that Steve Trevor and other soldiers will be helping Diana complete her mission.

Most of the characters in "Wonder Woman" are still shrouded in mystery, but Ewen Bremmer has recently shared some information about his own character in the DC Extended Universe film. Although the "T2 Trainspotting" star was merely trying to offer some details about the role he will play in the movie, it also suggested that his soldier would join Diana and Steve Trevor on a mission to save the world.

Ewen Bremner told Digital Spy that he will play a soldier who Diana has "enlisted" to join "a small, unlikely band" that is set to "save the world." The star of "T2 Trainspotting" added that his character is "shellshocked" but has been called upon to "help on a secret mission." It certainly sounds like "Wonder Woman" has the makings of a World War-era "Rogue One".

So what exactly did Ewen Bremner confirm (or at least reveal) about the "Wonder Woman" plot? According to Comic Book, Diana's group may have already been revealed in that old photo Bruce Wayne found in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", which shows Bremner in the far right. In addition to that, it sounds like Gal Gadot's heroine ends up choosing the members of her team herself. These chosen soldiers, which include Steve Trevor, might even end up facing big baddie Ares himself in the DCEU film.

"Wonder Woman" also stars "House of Cards" Season 5 actress Robin Wright as General Antiope. The DCEU flick will hit theaters on June 2.
