Although the "Outlander" season 3 co-stars have remained tight-lip about their relationship status, their on-screen and off-screen chemistry is definitely undeniable. With the drama series' third installment coming to the small screen soon, Caitriona Balfe revealed what she and Sam Heughan are missing from the show.

When Vanity Fair told the 37-year-old Irish actress and model that they may get a lot of angry tweets if her character is going to steer clear from being sexual and romantic in "Outlander" Season 3, Caitriona Balfe responded with a promise. The actress shared that there will be intimate scenes for Jamie and Claire but viewers will just have to be patient for now.

"Maybe they'll have to wait a little bit, but I don't think it's going to be as scarce as last season, shall we say?" the "Outlander" Season 3 actress shared. Caitriona Balfe also noted that she missed shooting with Sam Heughan as she was used to work with him quite a lot in the previous seasons.

Every time Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe attended events together, the duo has appeared more and more like a couple. The co-stars may just be teasing fans to create more hype to "Outlander" Season 3, but with dating rumors already plaguing their partnership, it won't be surprising to see fans believing that Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are more than just friends.

Unfortunately, their shippers appeared to be too aggressive for Sam Heughan. The actor had to address their fans to stop bullying Mackenzie Mauzy after the "Into The Woods" actress posted a photo of her and the "Outlander" Season 3 actor. Fans were not happy to see Sam Heughan with another actress so they started to bash Mackenzie Mauzy on social media, leading the actor to put an end to it.
