The awesome new trailer for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" has once again succeeded in getting people excited over the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. There is finally a brief glimpse at Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha and more footage of the adorable Mantis. But is it possible that Rocket Racoon isn't impressed with Pom Klementieff's character? And could Mantis end up getting romantic with Drax in the highly anticipated sequel?

Mantis has already debuted in the first trailer for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", where she reveals Star-Lord's secret crush on Gamora, much to Drax's delight. But could Pom Klementieff's adorable alien actually start her own bizarre romance with Dave Bautista's character? The actress has teased on the possibility, and even shared that Rocket Racoon might not be a big fan of Mantis at all.

Pom Klementieff recently spoke about how Mantis will deal with the Guardians in the upcoming MCU flick, stating that her character is eager to "discover new things" (via ComicBookMovie). One of the things the character is set to discover in the film will be a "friendship" with Drax, as Klementieff admits that "they just click." It certainly sounds like the two could get romantic in the movie, but that doesn't mean that Rocket Racoon thinks too highly of Mantis.

The possible romance with Drax isn't the only thing Pom Klementieff hinted on. The actress also admitted that "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will feature a scene where Mantis attempts a connection with Rocket Racoon but "it doesn't really work." There is a possibility that Mantis might call Rocket "cute" like Baby Groot in the new trailer, something that the character will not appreciate.

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is directed by James Gunn and also stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan and Michael Rooker. The film will premiere on May 5.
