The Weeknd's girlfriend, Selena Gomez is working on a new album and the songs is allegedly about her past relationship with Justin Bieber. Is she really singing about Bieber?

A new report from Refinery29 suggested that, Selena Gomez is preparing her new album and it might contain songs about Justin Bieber. Her new record will reportedly include songs about her teenage years. This reportedly made the fans wonder if she would include Bieber on it.

One song is about Justin Bieber?

According to Belfast Telegraph, in her recent uploaded clip on Instagram, the "Hands To Myself" singer gave her followers a sneak peek of her new song. The song's lyrics goes, "I had a dream, we were back to 17, summer nights... never growing up." Fans started to wonder if Gomez was referring to her past relationship with Bieber. Bieber and Gomez reportedly met when she was still 17, as the two started dating in 2009.

Perhaps, Gomez will not confirm as to whether or not she is singing about her ex-boyfriend. Gomez has already refused to give comments about Bieber and their former relationship. Gomez mentioned that she would try to promoted something she loved, although she added that the entire interview might be all about her personal life.

Selena Gomez: other songs in new album

Gomez has reportedly co-written several songs in her upcoming album. She even recently registered a track called, "It Ain't Me," which she wrote with DJ Kygo. She also worked with several writers including, Ali Tamposi, Brian Lee and Andrew Watt. These writers were reportedly the ones who wrote "Let Me Love You" by Bieber and DJ Snake.

Selena Gomez is reportedly happy with her new boyfriend, The Weeknd. The couple even went out on a boat date in a canal ride in Italy in January. She is yet to comment about the rumors regarding her new songs.
