It's been three years since "Destiny" was released to consoles, but that doesn't mean that Bungie isn't working on new content and adjustments for the first-person shooter game. The latest news surrounding "Destiny' is that Update 2.5.0.2 arriving Tuesday features decreased weapon power and more tweaks.

According to VG247, Bungie took to a livestream to discuss changes coming to "Destiny" this Tuesday via Update 2.5.0.2. Primarily, "Destiny" shotguns are going to get weaker once the update is implemented. Specifically, there will be no more magnetism and aim assists when firing from the hip, so gamers need to aim down instead. Gamers may also notice a 25% longer time in aiming down sights when using the Rangefinder.

Now that Update 2.5.0.2 arriving Tuesday features decreased weapon power and more tweaks, "Destiny" fans will notice that in-air accuracy has also been reduced by a significant rate. Shotguns also no longer have precision damage, except for Chaperone and Universal Remote, both of which precision damage are featured.

According to GameSpot, there are also more tweaks in the upcoming Update 2.5.0.2 arriving Tuesday. In fact, "Destiny" gamers may notice that Stormcaller's melee range has also been decreased and Gunslinger's throwing knife now features solar damage. Bungie also took to their blog to share that they're currently in the process of checking all the details that will come with Update 2.5.0.2.

"Destiny" gamers are encouraged to be on watch on Tuesday at 10 a.m. PT when Update 2.5.0.2 arrives with decreased weapon power and more tweaks. To keep up with the latest on "Destiny," make sure to bookmark this page.
