'Mass Effect Andromeda' News & Update: BioWare Explains Removal of Paragon and Renegade Conversation Options
"Mass Effect Andromeda" is finally arriving this March and with it comes some slightly surprising news that BioWare has decided to remove Paragona nd Renegade conversation options in the game. Such conversation options have been around since "Mass Effect" debuted 10 years ago. This time, however, the studio has decided to do away with the feature and here's why.
According to GameSpot, "Mass Effect Andromeda" creative director Mac Walters explained how the removal of Paragon and Renegade conversation options came about. He said that the Paragon and Renegade conversation options were features that were unique to Shephard. Now that Shephard isn't the main character in "Mass Effect Andromeda," however, it just "didn't really make sense" for it to be featured in the game.

In addition, BioWare explains that the removal fo Paragon and Renegade conversation options in "Mass Effect Andromeda" no longer limits gamers to a binary type of choice selection, and instead encourages gamers to be more engaged and creative in their decisions.
Gamers will find that when "Mass Effect Andromeda" arrives in March, there will be four different voice tones in the game, giving characters the chance to express themselves indifferent ways. As per IGN, Walters explained that this brings the game back to its role-playing roots and shifts the focus on how gamers want to express themselves through their characters.
"Mass Effect Andromeda" is slated for a March 21 release in North America and March 23 for Europe. To keep up with the latest on BioWare's "Mass Effect Andromeda," bookmark this page.
