'Marvel's The Defenders' Actress Rosario Dawson Eager To Play Ahsoka Tano In Future Live-Action 'Star Wars' Movie
Ahsoka Tano just might be the most beloved Jedi in the "Star Wars" fandom right now, so it's no surprise that people are hoping to see more of the young Jedi in the future. Interestingly, some fans are already calling for a live-action film that would follow a grown-up Ahsoka in her new adventures. But who should play Fulcrum in her own standalone movie? "The Defenders" actress Rosario Dawson has just admitted she would love to do a "Star Wars" movie as Anakin Skywalker's Padawan.
What's not to love about Ahsoka Tano? Although the young Padawan's snarky attitude wasn't an instant hit in the "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" film, she eventually went on to star as the lead in the subsequent animated series. From there, Ahsoka won more hearts in "Star Wars Rebels" and people are hoping to see more of Fulcrum in the future. Could a live-action standalone movie starring "The Defenders" actress Rosario Dawson possibly happen soon?
Not surprisingly, Rosario Dawson is also a huge fan of Ahsoka Tano. The star of the upcoming Netflix series "The Defenders" recently responded to a fan who asked for fan art featuring the actress as the grown-up Fulcrum. Dawson tweeted her enthusiasm along with some very appropriate hashtags. Is it finally time for a "Star Wars" spin-off movie that will follow the adult life of Anakin Skywalker's former Padawan?

Fans shouldn't get their hopes up just yet. A possible "Star Wars" live-action film featuring an adult Ahsoka Tano has not yet been addressed by Disney or Lucasfilm. Nevertheless, people can rest assured that Rosario Dawson is eager to take on the role when the project finally gets greenlighted. In the meantime, Dawson will appear as Claire Temple in "The Defenders", which is expected to air on Netflix later this year.
