Tom Holland Confirmed As Spider-Man In 'Avengers: Infinity War', 'Homecoming' Star Works Out In Production Gear
The secret is finally out. Tom Holland is officially joining the cast of "Avengers: Infinity War" as Spider-Man. This is certainly good news for fans who have long speculated on Peter Parker teaming up with Tony Stark once again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe flick. Now the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" star is openly teasing about his appearance in the "Avengers" sequel by working out in production gear from the film.
Fans have been hoping that Tom Holland would be one of the major superheroes who gets to face Thanos in "Avengers: Infinity War". After all, Peter Parker already teamed up with Iron Man in "Captain America: Civil War" and is set to get some help from Tony Stark yet again in "Spider-Man: Homecoming". Luckily, Holland himself has hinted on his appearance in the MCU flick through a revealing post on Instagram.
Tom Holland recently posted a Story on Instagram that shows the young actor working out and wearing a beanie from "Avengers: Infinity War". Although the post no longer appears on Holland's account, eagle-eyed fans shared a still on Reddit. The "Spider-Man: Homecoming" star also dropped a hint when he teased on a "disco trailer tonight", which turned out to be the first production teaser for the highly anticipated MCU flick.
The first "Avengers: Infinity War" production teaser has just been released, confirming that the film has started shooting last month. The video reveals that Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland will be joining "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" star Chris Pratt in the MCU flick. The new Spider-Man even expresses excitement over being a part of the sequel of an Avengers movie that he enjoyed watching with a friend when he was younger.
Tom Holland will play Peter Parker in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" on July 7. The young actor will then reprise his webslinging role in "Avengers: Infinity War", which is scheduled for release on May 4, 2018.
