'Resident Evil: Vendetta' News & Update: Trailer Shows Glenn Arias, Film Debuting in Spring 2017
While gaming fans are getting excited over "Resident Evil: Biohazard," there's also other things to look forward to this year for the franchise. In fact, the "Resident Evil: Vendetta" film will be debuting in Spring 2017, but there's no exact release date for North American territories just yet. While the film will land in Japanese theaters this May 27, it looks like those in the west will still have to wait.
Fret not, however, as a new trailer for "Resident Evil: Vendetta" has arrived. According to VG247, a first glimpse of the 2017 Japanese 3D animated horror film can now be seen on YouTube, where a trailer has been uploaded. The trailer shows Glenn Arias, who's the antagonist in the story.
The film will be distributed by Sony Pictures, and was developed by a partnership between Capcom and Marza Animation Planet. Gamers and fans of the franchise should know that "Resident Evil: Vendetta" showcases a story that happened between the events of "Resident Evil 6" and the current seventh iteration titled "Biohazard."
