After the critically-acclaimed success of the first season, "Stranger Things" season 2 will return to air on Halloween. As early as now, Netflix already released the first look at Winona Ryder in the upcoming season, Independent UK reported. Following the first trailer, the network released a series of images showing Winona Ryder alongside an official synopsis.
According to the official synopsis of "Stranger Things" season 2, the story will take off after a year of Will's return. While everything seemed to back on track, a certain kind of darkness is lurking around the corner threatening to pounce the residents of Hawkins. Just like "The Game of Thrones," the team behind the hit Netflix series is trying to avoid spoilers from leaking. In fact, they have consulted with the hit HBO series for some advice on how to do such.
"Stranger Things" executive producer Shawn Levy confirmed that more stringent security protocols will be implanted this season. He added that they are trying to protect every story arc and every page of the script. Meanwhile, there are possible villains for "Stranger Things" season 2 says Screen Rant. To recall, Thessalhydra's appearance has some resemblance to the monster in the season two trailer. Astute fans believe that this could be the next monster lurking around the Upside Down world.
