There are several things that has fans excited over "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", from the new additions to the Guardians to the introduction of Star-Lord's father Ego the Living Planet. However, one of the best aspects of the upcoming Marvel sequel is undoubtedly the soundtrack filled with iconic pop music. The latest addition to "Awesome Mixtape Vol. 2" may have been revealed in the film's new TV spot, and not surprisingly, it's a David Bowie song.

James Gunn has been vocal about being a huge fan of David Bowie and even admitted that he wants to use more music from the late artist in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2". There is little doubt that the director will try to pay tribute to Bowie in the highly anticipated sequel and it looks like Gunn found a way to do so. After all, Bowie's "Suffragette City" has just been featured in the movie's latest TV spot.

The new "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" TV spot is titled "You're Welcome". Although the video doesn't have any new footage from the Marvel film, it certainly has something that fans have been hoping for. The teaser's awesome background music is none other than "Suffragette City" by David Bowie, and it's a perfect fit for the Marvel flick. So does this mean that the Bowie track will be included in "Awesome Mixtape Vol. 2"?

According to James Gunn, the soundtrack for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" has already been complete back in 2015. The director revealed that he had cut a scene featuring a David Bowie song. Is it possible that Gunn was referring to "Suffragette City" and has changed his mind about adding the track to "Awesome Mixtape Vol. 2"? For now, fans can rest assured that the late artist will still be a part of the Marvel sequel in some way. The film will premiere on May 5.
