‘Kingdom Hearts 3’ Latest News: Xbox One Logo Removal A Mistake, Game Will Still Be Released On Microsoft Consoles
"Kingdom Hearts 3" fans were momentarily alarmed after rumors started circulating that the game won't be released on Xbox One. However, it has been confirmed that the game will still be rolling out to Microsoft consoles, much to the relief of many fans.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" was reportedly rumored to skip the Xbox One launch after fans noted the missing logo of the Xbox One in the "Kingdom Hearts 3" website, GamingBolt said. This doesn't appear too good especially that the previous game "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" was only released on PS4. More so, Square Enix "Final Fantasy XV" was mostly sold to Sony's system. This past evidence only compounded the rumors to be true. However, the game developer has finally confirmed that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be seen on Microsoft consoles too.
Square Enix explained that the removal of the Xbox One logo was massive neglect on their part. The game developer is determined to roll out "Kingdom Hearts 3" on Microsoft system alongside other consoles. More so, Square Enix has corrected their mistake, adding back the Xbox One logo to the website. Meanwhile, there are talks that fans will get to hear more of "Kingdom Hearts 3" at an event in Monaco later this week, Express reported.
According to the report, game director Tetsuya Nomura will be present at the Monaco Anime Game International Conference (MAGIC), which will be held on February 18. The "Kingdom Hearts 3" and "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" is expected to announce the release dates but there are mere speculations with no concrete announcement that such will happen. While some fans are hoping that the release date will be announced at the event, others are hoping to see more of "Kingdom Hearts 3" - a new gameplay footage, perhaps.
However, fans are hoping that Tetsuya Nomura will roll out the updates real soon. Fans are expecting that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will launch before "Final Fantasy 7 Remake," which is improbable to be released this year. Better stay tuned then to get the latest updates on both games!
