The 32-year-old actress dished out how marriage changes a relationship, even when partners have been together for decades before tying the knot. "I think the idea of marriage is very romantic; it's a beautiful idea, and the practice of it can be a very beautiful thing," she told Playboy in a recent interview. However, she says it not natural to be a monogamous person. She added that marriage is a lot of work.

"The Avengers" star also noted that any person who says that marriage is just the same as when you were starting as a couple is not telling the truth, Mirror UK said in a report. "It changes things," she explained, adding that she has friends who have been together for ten years and still noted that marriage was different from the dating status.

The "Ghost in the Shell" actress also said she thinks marriage just involves a lot of people who do not know about your relationship, because it was just a legally binding contract.

Scarlett Johansson and her French journalist Roman Dauriac announced their split early this year. They are co-parents to their two-year-old daughter Rose. Despite her failed marriages, Scarlett Johansson still feels blessed for having her child.

Talking about motherhood, the actress said it was the beautiful thing that has ever happened to her. During her pregnancy, she noted that it has changed her and that she had to let go of a lot of expectations and just handle the situation.
