A lot of attempts will be taken by his Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) team members to make him free, most importantly the assistance of Fiona Duncan (Jeananne Goossen), a defense attorney may be a ray of hope for him.

As we have just taken the name of Fiona Duncan’s name in episode 14 titled “Collision Course” of “Criminal Minds” Season 12, according to producer and story editor, Erica Messer, she will be one of them who are trying to make Reid out of the mess. Fiona through her investigation has come to a point with a belief that there must be something that Reid is not revealing to anyone, as published by The Christian Post.

“Criminal Minds” Season 12 Episode 14 is going to be a “strong episode” and it will certainly bring out an “interesting moral dilemma” as cited by Erica Messer. But the answer is still not clear from his short statements whether Spencer Reid will be out on bail till any trial is accomplished or he will be declared guilty for the murder of Doctor Rosa and carrying cocaine and heroin. However, Erica assured that fans will be compelled to glue their eyes on the upcoming episodes, TV Guide reported.

Erica also recently teased that the upcoming episodes of “Criminal Minds” Season 12 will highly feature a true criminal who was involved in the crime. But it seems fans will have to wait for a few more episodes to identify the real criminal.
