'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Spoilers: Arya Stark's Unexpected Reunion With Someone From Her Past
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 Spoilers claim that Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) will have a surprising reunion with one of her old and dear friends. The actress was spotted shooting in Canada recently. A report published by "Game of Thrones" fan site Watchers on the Wall noted that Maisie Williams was seen in Calgary, Canada for the upcoming season of the show.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7: A Surprise Reunion Waits For Arya
Though there is no evidence in the form of photos as of now, Instinct Animals, a company based in Canada that has trained several animals used in the show, shared a picture of two wolves. They mentioned that the two wolves were "all set to work". Apparently, these pictures were uploaded around the same time when Williams was shooting there.
The white wolf in the picture posted is Quigley, who has been shown as the direwolf Ghost of Jon Snow since 2015. Although the other wolf in the picture looks like a newcomer, it may act as the replacement for a direwolf called Nymeria, belonging to Arya in season 1. The Independent noted that Nymeria was last seen on the way to King's Landing after she defended both the butcher's son and Arya from Prince Joffrey.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7: Throwback On Nymeria
Cinema Blend reminded the viewers of "Game of Thrones" that Arya had received this direwolf in season 1 from Ned. In the beginning of the series when she and Joffrey had a tussle, it was Nymeria who rescued her by biting the prince.
Arya soon realized that the collision between the two can take Nymeria's life. So, she ordered the direwolf to disappear from the scene and the latter never appeared after that.
In "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel series, penned by George R.R. Martin, there is a clear indication of the return of Nymeria someday. On the other hand, Arya often has a dream that she is a wolf and leads her own pack now. Who knows! Perhaps she will come back before the end of this hit series.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is scheduled to premiere on HBO this summer.
