New reports suggest that the upcoming NBA Trade might involve Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James' mate, Kevin Love. Know the details if a swap between Anthony and Love happen.

A report from New York Daily News suggested that speculations continue to make rounds regarding the NBA trade reports between Kevin Love and Carmelo Anthony. LeBron James has finally addressed the rumor to clear up the issue.

LeBron James Opens Up About NBA Trade Deadline

“It is trash,” James shares in an interview. “And the guy who wrote it is trash too, for writing that, especially during the game like that. So it is always about outside noise, and that is just outside noise for us. We got to focus on what needs to be done and that’s to continue to compete for a championship. And we got who we got. Our GM will do a great job of figuring out if we need something else, but right now we’re in a good place.”

Love also followed up James' statement and denied the reports that he will not be playing for the same team in the next season. He insists that he will still be playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers with James. “I mean, it is just not true,” Love said. “It is almost laughable. I am on this team. I am going to be on this team. And we want to win with the guys that we have.”

NBA Trade reports: How Did Anthony-Love Trade Reports Begin?

According to the publication, James asked the organization to add another playmaker, which is why news about his trade with Anthony surfaced. However, reports suggest that the Cavs already rejected a deal proposed to them in which they would receive Anthony in exchange for Love.

There is no doubt that Love is one of the best players of the Cavs, as he even helped the team beat the Golden State Warriors during the 2016 NBA Finals. Love scored a total of 39 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. In the meantime, Bleacher Report suggested that Jimmy Butler is not worried about the trade reports at all. However, he just hopes that he would not get traded on the deadline date.

As of this date, the NBA Trade Deadline reports are yet to be confirmed on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017.
