The hit TV drama, "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 continues to be famous because of its twists and turns. The lead star, Ellen Pompeo recently gave the fans some spoilers about the steamy relationship of Meredith and Alex.

A recent report from E! Online suggests that the characters in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, Meredith and Alex will have steamy hook ups. Ellen Pompeo opened up about the romance that will be fired up between Meredith and Alex (Justin Chambers.)

Meredith And Alex Gets Steamy In "Grey's Anatomy"

Unfortunately, Ellen Pompeo admitted that she would not be happy if Meredith and Alex would take their friendship into a relationship. Although, she knows that there is a great chance for the on-screen friends to develop feelings to each other in the next episodes of "Grey's Anatomy". “We are really close, and it does feel weird,” Ellen Pompeo said in an interview.

Fans of the hit TV series even speculate that Ellen Pompeo and Justin Chambers are dating in real life. However, for Ellen Pompeo, dating Justin Chambers on and off screen would be weird, as he treats him as her brother. "To potentially maybe have him as a love interest would be like kissing my brother,” the actress stated. “I used to say that about Patrick [Dempsey] all the time too because just we’d been together for so long."

Ellen Pompeo even admitted that kissing men that are not her husband is weird for her. “I guess it would not be if you did not like your husband, but I happen to be very, very fond of mine,” she said. The actress also unveiled that friendships can turn into relationships and it happens in real life. She admitted that anything can happen in the next episodes of the series.

Does Meredith Trust Alex Now?

In the meantime, TV Line released a recap of the recent episode of "Grey's Anatomy" called, "Back Where You Belong". The episode reportedly showed that Meredith still has some suspension about Alex's actions. Alex has finally returned to work and he was welcomed with numerous changes in the hospital.

As of recent, it is yet to be confirmed if Ellen Pompeo's Meredith and Justin Chamber's Alex will hook up in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13.
