Recap of "NCIS: A Many Splendored Thing" Episode

The episode saw Bishop (Emily Wickersham) going ahead with her retribution plan against Chen. Chen came up to Gibbs' house to tell Bishop and him that he was asked by the CIA to bring in a warlord from Syria, TV Line noted. But Bishop did not like his version and called him to meet her after swapping her phone with Flemming. She gives an option to Chen, which appears to him as if he is between the devil and the deep sea.

Chen can either wait for the Syrians to come and punish him or trigger the virus that would explore the generator he has been tied to. Chen decides to go for the second one. Meanwhile Gibbs and Bishop stood outside and saw the building collapsing after the explosion.

Later on, Flemming hinted that perhaps it was time for Gibbs to get a promotion. When Bishop meets Gibbs, she expects that the latter would snub her and she was right. Her Boss said, "Each time you go, rogue, there's a price to pay-and it isn't cheap." Just before Bishop leaves, she puts behind a card she meant to give her boyfriend on the day he was killed.
