“It is hard,” Hemmings says in his previous interview. “One of the weird things is you want it to be a secret, but you do not want it to be a secret.” Luke Hemmings and Arzaylea reportedly broke up because the 5SOS member decided to dump her, as she is the reason why the band's followers were upset. The publication even revealed that she wrote an apology statement on Twitter.

"I do not want to sit here and list all the things I have done wrong in life because I do not think it would fit on this page," she writes. "This is something that keeps me up at night. I do not want you to hate me. I do not want to be the 'reason' this 'fandom' is 'falling apart'. I am more like you than you can imagine."

Luke Hemmings has been defensive about his relationship with Arzaylea. He even defended her from the negative comments of fans on social media in the past.
