Sam Heughan recently decided to go public with girlfriend MacKenzie Mauzy at the Weinstein Company and Piaget’s Oscar Weekend Kick-Off Party. The "Outlander" Season 3 star was expected to attend the event with Caitriona Balfe, but Heughan decided it is finally time to confirm that he is dating the "Into The Woods" actress.

Fans who have been shipping "Outlander" Season 3 stars Heughan and Balfe were understandably upset with the revelation. However, it was easy to see that the "First Light" actor is deeply in love with his girlfriend, who looked chic and stylish in a pale pink Genny suit.

Sam Heughan may have made it official that his girlfriend is MacKenzie Mauzy, but fans can still expect to see the real-life Jamie Fraser alongside his onscreen wife. Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are set to attend the Emerald City Comic-Con 2017 this week, where the two might offer up some awesome "Outlander" Season 3 spoilers. Soon after their appearance in Seattle, the costars are expected to fly to South Africa to continue filming for the Starz series.

The "Outlander" Season 3 air date has not yet been announced. However, fans can expect to see Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe together once again when the series returns to Starz in September.
