Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Marriage Will Make ‘Suits’ Actress Duchess of Wales
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry dating has sparked reports about their possible marriage plans. Although, right now they are just trying to know each other better, fans of the "Suits" actress are speculating what she would be called after her marriage to the royal Prince.
Other questions such as the divorce status of Meghan Markle and her faith in the Catholic religion will affect their decision to marry or not are also making rounds. Interestingly, the Queen will have a say in all these matters, as reported by Marie Claire.
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Wedding Woes
Meghan Markle is a divorcee and was previously married to producer Trevor Engelson. They parted ways in 2013. However, her status as a divorcee should not affect her marriage to Prince Harry. Incidentally, Prince Charles and current wife, Camilla Parker Bowles both divorced their previous partners prior to their marriage in 2005. So the divorce status should not come in between the Meghan Markle And Prince Harry marriage.
However, the faith of the 35-year-old actress can indeed affect the decision. The archaic rule introduced in Royal Marriages Act of 1772 of George III prohibits the adult members of the royal family from marrying a person who is a Catholic. However, according to a new rule enacted in 2015, royalties can now marry Catholics.
As per the rule, the wives in the United Kingdom automatically take the title of their husband. Since the 32-year-old Prince would be Duke of Wales, the actress would be called Duchess of Wales.
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry: Markle Is More Popular Than The Prince
Among Meghan Markle And Prince Harry, the former is more popular than the latter, reports Daily Mail. The actress is fourth in Tatler Magazine's list of party guests who are most popular. The sudden rise in the popularity of the actress could be attributed to her relationship with Prince Harry and if she does marry him, her popularity may soar further.
