The possibility of “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 5 is still unconfirmed and it seems the showrunners and producers are not sure whether or not it will be renewed again.

Wrapping up season 4 of “The Curse of Oak Island,” fetched the series' highest viewership rating, which was truly a possibility or ray of hope for another season. Not only this, the famous Lagina brothers were not able to solve the 220-year-old Oak Island mystery and season 4 completed with a disappointing note, as both brothers were not able to discover anything significant.

Why Would Fans want “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 5?

In a previous articles on “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 5 we revealed that some objects discovered by the Lagina brothers were like peanuts compared to the wealth both of them were looking for. Hence, fans are still hoping that the showrunners and network will surely consider for another season just for the purpose of solving the mystery.

According to Korea Portal, when “The Curse of Oak Island” Season 3 ended, similar talks such as the discontinuation or cancellation of the show were swirling but filming restarted after receiving funds from Novia Scotia Business, Inc.. The website also reported that the showrunners are having the same questions that they are highly positive about another season.

“We are not set to come back for another year, take of that what you will,” executive producer Kevin Burns opined, as reported by Mstars News. However, it is cleared from their comments that if the series is renewed anyhow, they will surely be having too much stories to tell.
