Floyd Mayweather News: Burglars Break Into His Home Amid Birthday Bash; Here's What We Know
The latest Floyd Mayweather news revealed that while the renowned boxer celebrated his birthday, burglars broke into his home.
The Las Vegas home of the 40-year-old retired boxing champion, who celebrated his birthday last weekend, is currently under investigation by the Las Vegas Police, after burglars broke into the property.
A recent Floyd Mayweather news report said that employees called the police after finding out that some unknown suspects had forced their entry into the vicinity. According to the report, no one was in the Wood Creek Court estate located in Southern Hills, Las Vegas when the incident happened.
Floyd Mayweather News: Las Vegas Home Was Burglarized
In an initial report by Las Vegas Police Public Information Officer Danny Cordero, the burglars might have entered through the second floor of the estate, per Fox News. The report also said that some items were taken and the police are yet to release the confirmed properties which were taken.
This was not the first time a Floyd Mayweather incident was released regarding a burglary in his home. In 2008, it was reported that a $7 million worth of jewelry was stolen in his another Las Vegas home.
Floyd Mayweather Birthday Bash Celebrated In Los Angeles
While Floyd Mayweather's Las Vegas mansion was being burglarized over the weekend, he was celebrating his 40th birthday in J.W. Marriott in Los Angeles, TMZ said in a report. Among the invited special guests for the boxer's party were Mariah Carey, who sang "Happy Birthday" for him. Justin Bieber also performed "Where Are You Now."
The two joined other special celebrity guests like Too Short, Nicole Murphy, The Game, Bobby Brown, Adrien Broner, Terrell Owens, and Fat Joe. Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather said that if a match with UFC star Conor McGregor will push through, the fight might be a big one in history. "That can be the biggest fight in the history of the sport, we just don't know," he said. "We'll just see."
